Report on National Workshop on Emotional Intelligence On August 6, 2025, the B.Ed. students of Kaviyattu College of Education had the opportunity to attend a National Workshop on Emotional Intelligence hosted by Mar Theophilus Training College, Trivandrum. The event, organized by the college’s IQAC, was conducted in a hybrid mode and held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Joju John, the Principal of Mar Theophilus Training College. In his speech, he gave a brief introduction to the concept of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and emphasized its importance in both personal and professional life. He also introduced the guest speaker of the day, Dr. Padmakshi Lokesh, a mental health expert from Bangalore, who holds degrees in BDS, MS, and MSc (Psychology).    FIRST YEAR ORIENTATION PROGRAMME        KAVIYATTU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION                         CHINTANA Name: Akash.S.A Subject: B.Ed Day 1 – 21 July 2025: Inauguration of Chintana-25 The first day of the orientation programme for the B.Ed 2025–27 batch at Kaviyattu College of Education, Pirappancode began with great enthusiasm. The inaugural ceremony, “Chintana-25”, was held at 10:00 AM in the college auditorium. The event started with a welcome speech by Dr. Liby Cheriyan, IQAC Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Physical Science. Following this, the Principal, Dr. Deepthi Karunakaran, delivered the Presidential Address, motivating the new trainees to become effective and compassionate educators.
